Rubberised Jute Fabrics – Chorus for Flex Printers

RKDRubber is a digitally-printable natural jute backed with natural latex. The raw materials are natural and biodegradable. Jute is grown as a cash crop by family farms in developing countries. Jute requires very little fertilizer or pesticides. During the 3 month growing season, one hectare of jute plants absorbs approximately 15 tonnes of CO2 and releases 11 tonnes of oxygen. One tonne of dry jute bre absorbs as much as 7.5 tonnes of CO2 where as producing one tonne of polypropylene emits up to 3 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of material produced. The substrate can be disposed of by composting to create natural fertilisers to improve soil quality. Available in 48-inch width, 10meters for $400 or 20meters roll for $750. Bleach white color only.
